George Wendt began his career with Second City as an actor and comedy writer, and is perhaps best known for his role on Cheers, which earned him six Emmy nominations.

His feature film credits include Forever Young, Guilty By Suspicion, Fletch, King of the Ants, and Man of the House.

George frequently performs onstage in New York, Los Angeles and his native Chicago, and is presently working on Edmond and Modern Men.

"[Rupert's Land is] very sophisticated comedy and subtle and weird and quirky and hugely dramatic, as well."
